At Ohio Broach & Machine Company we provide precision sharpening, reconditioning and repair of broach tooling. Properly sharpened tooling is essential to achieving a proper cut and machining a quality product. We offer sharpening and reconditioning of broach tooling including round broaches, keyways, surface broaches, and form broaches made from PM M4, PMT15, M2, M3, and M42, PM M48 high speed steels. Tooling can be brazed, sharpened, straightened, and recoated, depending on the need. We use our CNC regrinding equipment and our radius & face angle gauging set to ensure all tooling is precision machined to the customer’s specifications.
Tool coatings including titanium nitride, titanium carbonitride, and titanium aluminum nitride available to extend tool life. Typical lead time for tooling sharpening is 1-2 weeks depending on the number of tools to be sharpened, but 24 hour emergency sharpening is available if needed.
